Rori Nogee is a vocalist and entertainer with over
15 years of
experience. She has performed in Cabaret venues throughout NYC,
including Don’t Tell Mama, The Duplex, Danny’s
Skylight Room and The Triad. She has appeared on Broadway, in national
tours, and in two NYC Fringe Festival musicals which both won
“The Audience Choice Award.” On Broadway, she
appeared in Joseph...Dreamcoat. National Tours: The Wizard of
Oz(Dorothy), Come Back, Amelia Bedelia!(Amelia), and Jay Jay the Jet
Plane(Brenda Blue). Rori most recently hosted interactive student
workshops for the Broadway productions of Rent and Chicago, and for the
national tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. She also hosted Career Day on
Broadway, a special event at Roseland Ballroom, which garnered
attention on Broadwayworld.com. Other favorite roles include:
Chicago(Roxie), Carousel(Carrie), Merrily We Roll Along(Gussie),
Joseph...Dreamcoat(Narrator) and every female role in the Rocky Horror
Show.
When not in the spotlight, Rori works behind the scenes. She took on
the role of choreographer for, I Feel Great, a new touring musical by
Sweet Youth Productions, and Neurotic Tendencies, a Cabaret at
Don’t Tell Mama. In addition, Rori directed the musical
theater program at CAPE on Long Island, and wrote and performed, Dreams
and Wishes, an original children's musical-revue for Life-Skills
pre-school.
Rori is currently a member of the Killing Kompany, New York’s
leading murder mystery dinner theater. She also writes her own
self-accompanied music, and recently released her first demo CD
entitled, “In the Meantime.”
